Deploy Federated Event

Presentation

This event, hosted by IUT Sénart-Fontainebleau with the help of LACL laboratory , is organized on behalf of the DEPLOY project. Its objectives are to present current status and ongoing research and development related to event B language and Rodin tools, as well as applications to industry size problems, at the occasion of the end of the DEPLOY project.

This event is composed of:

a one-day tutorial for plug-ins developers (February 27th 2012):
This tutorial is aimed at developpers willing to contribute to the Rodin platform. It addresses the following topics:
- Rodin Architecture,
- Plug-ins and features,
- The Rodin Database,
- Contributing to the Event-B UI,
- Tutorial plug-in.
a workshop for Rodin users and developers (February 28th and February 29th 2012)
This workshop provides an opportunity:
- for Rodin users, to share tool experiences and to gain an understanding of on-going tool developments.
- for plug-in developers, to showcase their tools and to achieve better coordination of tool development effort.
If you are interested in giving a presentation at the Rodin workshop, send a short abstract (1 or 2 pages PDF) to rodin@ecs.soton.ac.uk by 16 January 2012. Indicate whether it is a tool usage or tool development presentation. Plug-in presentations may be about existing developments or planned future developments.
an industry day (March 1st 2012) (programme):
This event presents industrial applications of Event-B and Rodin tools. Presentations given by:
- DEPLOY industrial partners (Bosch, SAP, Siemens Transportation Systems, Space Systems Finland)
- DEPLOY associates partners
describe applications to various domains such as automotive, business information systems, microelectronics, railways, aerospace, etc.

There is also a limited number of slots for other industry representatives willing to share their own experience on Event-B and/or Rodin tools.

Venue

The event will be held at the IUT of Fontainebleau, route forestière Hurtault. A number of hotels are available locally.
There are regular connections by train between Paris-Gare de Lyon and Fontainebleau/Avon train stations (45 minutes journey).
